retrofit armrest usb for music

Hello

I have f10 2012 with CIC,combox, bluetooth phone and audio, aux, but I don't have usb in the armrest and I would like to retrofit for easier playing music over the usb instead importing to cic hdd. Is it possible by just connecting the usb to combox and code or do I need to replace the combox ?

If you have the combox, it should be possible with just a cable and coding. Worked for me.

I actually did not feel like tearing the interior apart for this, so I ordered a short cable with just a usb connector and left it in the rear near the combox.

i am interested what cabel you used for installing usb in the center console.

i have combox and cic pro
