Hello;

i just traded my cars with f10 520i which is converted to F10 m5 2014 which is totalled.

• Now i need to ask do i need the full psdzdata for coding for example whole seat module SM ?
• İ just know that steering wheel is not orginal so vibration and heat doesnt work i have ordered the orginal one so please ignore those faults.
• Also i have a fault every time i get in the car which is discharge message is there some ecu which is not sleeping ? İf it is how can i find it ? Or ibs sensor can cause this issue or not ?

So by converting it to M5, what did they do exactly? Just a cosmetic thing or they swapped the engine as well? There are many things that are different that needs to be programmed, relocate or rewired.

They swapped everything. its like real m5. Every option in the car. Even if i can see the cars vin,fa,vo,elements when i read.

Did they swap the chassis harness? It seems like they may have swapped the modules and not the chassis harness so some wires are missing causing some of these errors. Did they swap the SZL? It may be related to all of the steering errors if you are missing the control unit in the steering wheel.

Yes they did. By the fault of the steering is they put china wheel on the car which doesnt have heat and vibration on it. i have ordered orginal one waiting it to be install on car. Then it will be coded again. So it should fix the issue. My problem is why the car gives battery discharge error everytime i enter the car and seat error in faults. Will see and look today with ista+

I don’t see the discharge error in your two photos but usually it is an indication that the battery is bad. If it’s new, make sure it is registered. If it is also registered then something is slow draining the vehicle.

I’m convinced they didn’t swap everything because it is saying the seat module under the seat is not correct to the car. You can program it to match the car but at least right now coding does not match.

they must change the module cause first car doesnt have massage seats. i think they didnt program the module im having issues with ista its saying that The programming system could not be initialised and pad active error. i will be trying to fix this first i have registered the battery with bimmerlink today. also i have plugged it to charger to be safe as soon as im going to change the battery cause i dont know when its changed.

If they did change all harness and modules over then you shouldn’t have errors unless the doner car had issues initially

You re right honestly i dont know but donor car has better functions than other. For example it has blind spot but its not working i dont know why.

Now i finally make it work e sys shows bunch of faults. First i need to install orginal steering wheel which has vibration and heat function second need to install orginal headlights with ecus on it. Then i will try to program all. For to be sure i just ordered new 105ah battery because ispa gives error about battery i have checked its working at 12.2 even plugged 4ah charger all day.

Yes, swapping those two back in will help eliminate a lot of errors then you can figure out the rest easier. Battery does sound bad if it’s 12.2V being on the charger all day.

First of all thank you for your replies it does mean to me. Yes tomorrow will be installing the steering next day new battery will see what will happen i need to figure out terminal 30 problem which is caused by battery.
