Coding retrofit NBT EVO headunit

Hi all! I did NBT EVO headunit retrofit on my car 4 years ago, the original factory equipped was NBT ID4 headunit. I was told that if I wanted to code the NBT EVO headunit, I had to use OABR cable together with Enet cable or Enet cable over OABR cable converter modified in the quadlockd, otherwise the headunit cannot be detected. Is that true?

Hi all! Any idea about this? I found a website describing the OABR cable connection to quadlock:

https://naviandbmwparts.com/blog/new...nd-instruction

Is this applicable to my F10LCI? Furthermore, I checked the FSCstatus of my retrofit EVO headunit, found that it was under a different VIN, just want to know if I can flash the retrofit headunit using the OABR cable via esys and had the VIN corrected to my VIN. Thanks for help!
