For NBT ONLY! (To find out, go to your car, go to navigation, move the iDrive controller twice to the right, scroll down to Navigation system version, and on the bottom of the screen you'll see if NBT or CIC)
Search google for Road Map North America NEXT 20XX-X (X being the latest year and map version, google it)
Download the torrent and save the map to a FAT32 formatted USB drive.
Download software called BMW_CIC_FSC_Generator (this will work for both CIC and NBT) from https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1456836

Plug in computer to OBD port.
Double click Launcher Pro 3.0 to launch ESYS.

1. Connect to car with Esys.
2. Click “FSC Extended” on left of Esys.
3. Enter “0x63” for the “Diagnostic Address”.
4. Click “Identify”.
5. Wait for “Base Variant” to display your cars' info.
6. Enter “0xDE” for “Application ID”.
7. Enter “0x1” for “Upgrade Index”.
8. Scroll down and select “StoreFSC”.
9. Select the “ >> ” button.
10. Click “Read”.
11. Click “Save” and save as last 7 digits of VIN.FSC
(example: XXXXXXX.FSC)
REMEMBER WHERE YOU SAVED THIS FILE.

Then open BMW_CIC_FSC_Generator
Make sure it updates the RSAKeys and Lookup files
Click NBT on top.
Click open file and navigate to above saved file.
Fill in the rest of the info and click generate.

Plug in the USB stick with the maps data into the car, wait for the update prompt, then select update
Enter the FSC code you generated when iDrive prompts you.

Done.

Hi, for last 2 weeks im trying to update my map to europe 2019 and today i finaly did it, i used the same option like you did, but i used another generator NOT BMW CIC FSC GENERATOR (didnt work for me).

How to generate BMW FSC Code by BMWAiCoder?

After download BMWAiCoder, unzip the file, connect your car with laptop via Obd2 cable and open app BMWAiCoder.



Select BMWAiCoder language to use: English, French, German, Italian or Russian…



Click “DetectCar” then “Connect” to connect to the vehicle.



Click “Get ECUs List” to bring up the list of all modules.



Click the “FSC” button or select “FSC Tools” from the menu to run the FSC tool as below screen shown.



Now the FSC Tool screen will be displayed. In the left list, double-click “00DE” which means navigation or select 00DE and press “Load FSC” button (import the FSC file that u saved before with Esys).



For Country and VerCode use "Get from Map" and locate "INFO MAP" file from your Navigation 2019 folder (in my case: Road Map Europe Next 2019-1\1\INFO_MAP_ECE_101181_3_111).

The remaining VIN information will already be entered, so there is no further change, choose NBT or CIC and click "Generate"

Enter the code in your car and thats all!!!

IMPORTANT!
I tried the same code for a few times and didnt work, so i changed my Usb key, also format with mac and windows and nothing. Just be sure when you plug in the USB in your car, the car must read it, enter the code just 1 time. If dont work, leave car for 30 minutes (turn it off and lock it) and then try again. I dont know the reason why, but that worked for me.
