Aftermarket amp

I have a 2012 550i with the Hifi system. Ive only had it for a few months and My amp is not working and rather than buying a used stock amp or one of the $1000+ plug and play amps I really would rather go aftermarket. I’m not an expert when it comes to all the technical stuff with audio. I know a fair amount. I know my car uses fiber optic and it runs through the other modules in a loop. I’ve been trying to find a harness that will allow me to bypass my stock amp directly to an aftermarket and still retain the other functions. I don’t have $1000 to buy an alpha one or a those other amps at the moment and just want to get my system working again. I plan to upgrade other components over time. I looked at the technic website and it looks like the harness I may need is out of stock. I’ve also seen videos and threads saying not to bypass my stock amp. Or will I have to replace my stock amp and add on an additional amp? I just want the simplest most cost effective solution to get my stereo working and not waste money buying another stock amp if I don’t need to. Or are there any plug and play amps for the Hifi system that aren’t $1000. I just spent a ton of money on window tint, new wheels, registration, new head unit, tune up, head lights… and need to do the brakes now too. (Not to mention a new windshield… i will spare you the story behind that) all in the less than 2 months so I’m looking for the cheapest solution to get my stereo atleast working other than a stock amp. Any suggestions.

Besides maybe Audison the cheapest is going to be by a used factory amp and roll the dice on it.
Can’t get one without the other in this game unfortunately.

If you have HiFi, you actually don’t have fiber optics so it’s easy. Buy an amp connector harness. You plug that into your current amp harness then wire up your amp to the RCA provided. From your amp, you connect to the speaker wires that are on that amp harness. Pretty simple. Your amp of choosing will be in place of your existing amp. If you have HK or B&O then you will have to worry about fiber.

I definitely have fiber optics. I see the green cables with the red light.
