iDrive Controller Coding
This my first HW retrofit coding and need some guidance on how to go about it.
I just installed E-sys and confirmed that it's working. I was gonna use Bimmercode (expert mode) but it's not able to read the new NBT Evo HU I just installed (common issue with retrofitted Evos). I'm watching videos non-stop about how to use E-sys and getting the basics of it (esp. the dos and do nots). What I need is more step by step help for how to go about my first attempt for coding the new iDrive controller. It works when I plugged it in, but the button mapping is off. What values do I need to change? Thx in advance

Never mind. Ended up taking my ceramic controller apart and fixing the stuck turn knob issue. Was much easier than I thought. I much prefer to keep the matching ceramic controller in the car.
I'll be listing the new controller for sale either separately or as part of my original NBT system. PM if interested.
