Crank no Start Need Help

Hi,
I have a 2012 F10 525D and it sometimes will crank but not start. I have tried to troubleshoot but getting out of my depth and need help. I get a lot of short to ground, crank incorrect signal and cam incorrect signal. Sounds to me like electrical. Really would like to hear ideas before I go to the dealer in Perth. David.

update.
When I press the START button without the brake pedal I get a number of errors include drivetrain and steering behaviour.
I installed and ran ISTA to check the error codes as suggested and got the following FLA and EPS modules not responding.

To be honest was very worried about the EPS based on the costs to fix. Anyway I looked into the fault and seams to be possible issues with the CAN. I removed the plastic cover on the interior mirror and disconnected the two connectors, deleted all error and ran the test again. This time I only get the camera not found error on the dash for a second and then car starts.

Early days but this temporary fix seams to have fixed the crank not start issue. Seams I have a high beam assist issue unless I have missed something hear. Any ideas on where to go from here?

Your earth ground could have been broken, or worse deteriorated. Found out mine turned into dust. After replacing the starter thinking that was the issue. BMW makes great cars but use crappy parts with some things.

So restarted from the beginning as I am going in circles at the moment. Check the battery history and it is between 60-65%. Put the battery on charge over night, let the battery sit for 4 hours and then tested 12.6v. ISTA said 85%. Will arrange to get the battery tested. I then progressed to run the Flexray initialisation, it has step 1 successful but step 2 in progress. I check for error and it said to check for the 45ohm terminal. Any ideas?
