I'm interested in the NVH on both options. I like things firm and connected but I'm not a 21" wheels, suspension-cranked-full-stiff kind of guy.
NVH is like stock. Haven't notice anything negative only the improvements.

Heads up folks, the turner monoballs are on sale for 15% off right now. Both installed versions and monoball-only ones. The RWD preinstalled is at a nutty 390, but the AWD is at 535... why?!

Now that I can confirm reducing deflection in the thrust arm has added a huge benefit I'm curious about caliper deflection. I check that the bearing isn't going by doing the shake the wheel test. Passed of course. Then I took the wheel off and shook the rotor to see if anything was loose there and I didn't notice the caliper moved a good amount. Coincidentally I ran across these on ECS and thought I might to try this before I go to the track. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...003326ecs01~a/

Somehow you keep finding ways to spend money :P

Wonder if it's necessary for the rear calipers?

Oh my gosh, stop already! lol. But as always... I'll wait for your feedback. It makes sense and I never even thought twice about the rubber... I guess I thought that was just part of the dust cover for the guide pins, I didn't realize that the guide pins actually RODE on that.

Let us know how they work out LOL

I was tempted to get it, so I did more research and decided it wasn't worth it. I don't track my car, and it requires you to really keep on top of the maintenance of the bushing. You need to clean it regularly, since otherwise it'll bind up the pin. The OEM rubber is maintenance free, just needs the occasional replacement. The general consensus seems to be that the OEM BMW rubber bushings are pretty dang good.

I had those brass caliper sleeves back in the days on my e46. They were a good upgrade but like what people said its a pain in the rear. There is no dust cap at the end of the brass sleeves like the rubber stock ones so road debris get built up on the sliding pin grease very easily and you have to keep an eye out to clean and regrease them every so often.

The one doubles posted does come with a dust cap. So might be less pain in the rear, but it's still something I'd rather just not deal with.

So I just did the monoballs on the trust arms and wow, this is right up there with Coil overs and sway bars if you want more feel and control. I still need to test this out on dry roads but big difference noticed already on wet roads. I'm posing an install DIY video since I just got the bearings being the cheapskate I am. Good times.

It sounds like it was just seized a bit. Tightening spec is 100nm + 90*, so it's not insanely tight. Penetrating oil + time + heat will probably help. Obviously, don't torch it if you're not replacing the whole arm :P
