MHD Antilag for F series n55's
Anyone try this yet? I just ordered my BT MHD module cause I can't get my new iphone to connect via cable... looks like it should work for us! Anyone!?

This seems like it would be pretty rough on the turbos. What's the point on a non-race car?

I would be scared to use this... turbo probably gonna cook real fast and if you got cat converter then say bye bye to that and who knows high mileage cars might face some type of engine failure.

This is what I discovered, also my burble stopped working but I think it might be because it is so cold here right now, not sure.

I am in a 6MT. I hope this works for it as well. Where do you see them discussing the fix? Link? Thanks!

Very nice, does the fix on Mon or Tue also apply to 6MT? Any reports on burble issues? Mine are gone.

On my car the burbles work on sports mode but not on comfort mode.. mhd said that fix will be out Monday or Tuesday... the anti lag issue mhd is still looking into it... it's not just manual cars it's all 5 and 6 series

Firstly, thank you ey2001 for the updates.
Secondly, every video on YT right now showing this new feature is either rolling, or sitting parked. I've yet to see someone try this on a launch (where I think this feature would be most beneficial to get this big boat moving off the line and get those 60' times down). Have you guys ran into anyone who has tried it off the line?

I think you'd start to struggle with traction at that point, wouldn't you? You'd have to be running on a prepared surface with some sticky ass tires to really make use of it.

Yea i think this is the point where we'd really see the limitations of our open rear diff. The xDrive folks would certainly have a blast with this more so than the RWD guys

Forgive me for sounding like a complete noob, but two things I'm ignorant about here that you have all mentioned:
1. Comfort vs. Sport 2. Built in launch control I don't think I have either of those. I'm in a 2011, 6MT, without electronic suspension... does that explain why I don't have those features? I have never seen them. |

2- FROM WHAT I REMEMBER... that is something that can be coded in on the pre-LCIs (I don't remember seeing it when I did coding on my car... I do recall doing sport trans coding, but don't recall seeing LC). I could be wrong but I THINK LCI 535 M-sports had this feature stock?? Someone please correct me if I am wrong

This X-Drive guy expects to see parts bouncing in the rear view mirror if this was attempted. I don't get the impression that the hard parts on non-M cars these days are built to handle this kind of high torque punishment. At the very least it's probably instant death to all diff bushings. I feel like my 190hp 2.8L E39 had a more sturdy driveline build than my F10 has.

Lol, that's cause it was only 190 hp. Breaking things just means it is time to upgrade...
