KWv3 with 295/30/20 rears rubbing

Anyone else experience this issue? Installed v3's for xDrive cars and the rears are rubbing now on deep-ish dips, even when above KW's recommended Distance A (distance from nearest bolt to top of lower spring perch). 95% of the time it's not rubbing, but I can hear the dreaded squeal on those dips. I'm guessing I'm just running too wide a tire with too much offset, rears are 343M (20x10 ET 34) with 295/30/20 tires.

Any potential suggestions? Not against going down to a 285 but would like to explore other options as well.

Happened to me on my RWD. Running 343s on Megan Coilovers. Running 285/30/20. I originally ran Hankooks but switched to Michelin A/S 3+ which has a really square profile. Had to raise the car 1/2inch almost

You rubbed with 285's as well?

Dang. Maybe some very minor fender pulling is in my future.

Maybe add some camber? I was rubbing less before my alignment. Guy put it to 1.4 in the rears which is on the low end. Maybe 2.0 would make a difference I suspect

Yea, I'll talk to my alignment/suspension guy and get his input.

Thanks for posting, guys. I've been looking into wheels for some time and I don't get how the 343m can work on an F10 with 295's even though some claim they do. Seeing they rub even with a fat 285 confirms my suspicions. This has saved me a trip to go look at a set!

343M's will run fine on stock suspension, or a stiffer/linear spring set up. I never had issues with my Silvers coilovers because they were linear and a lot stiffer.

Wow, sounds like the Silvers were a much stiffer setup than the V3's! Remind me, you had the off-the-shelf 12k/8k rates and no Swift upgrade, correct?

Yep, I stayed at the default spring rates. I'm not sure what the rates were, but 12k and 8k sounds about right. I think the real problem in this story is the 343M's offset - ET34 is just a tad bit too aggressive for KW's/softer spring rates

Megan's are 10k and 4.5k....... There has to be something wrong here. I am running 1 finger.

I'm running 295's, which is probably why we have different "fingers"

Mine might be closer to 2 fingers actually.

Have you adjusted the rebound? Also, adding 650i rear sway may help as well. Your ride may be slightly more stiff as a result though

I already have the 650i rear sway anyhow. I'll see if going up a click will help.

Question just for my curiosity, are you rubbing just the inner fender liner, or are you rubbing the steel fender?

Steel fender, rubbing half way down the tire sidewall. Will post pictures later

Can't 100% tell from that photo, but I feel like 343m wheels have more poke. But your wheels are wider, so that would be unusual
