Hey guys, I recently put in a TurboSmart BOV and I'm getting a check engine light coming on every other day or so, I clear it.. and it comes back.. the car doesnt sound funny or feel different at all when the check engine light is on...??? any ideas?? saying this.....

Wondering if the install didn't go right? Did you clip in the harness all the way? I've had mine on for quite awhile and I have no issues

A shop in Jersey put it on when they did the Turbo.. the boys from Kies did it, I'm positive it was done correctly... they are aware also, trying to find time to make it back down there

I bet one of harnesses didn't get plugged in all the way in.

Only 1 harness connection for this BOV that I have...Spoke to Turbosmart today, they said it could be a faulty solenoid, which they would have to look at and test, or a wire could have come loose or damaged during the installation process, but as long as it's not going into limp mode of have a crazy flutter, its fairly safe to keep driving till I get what is causing the light to come on

Thanks for asking... I made sure everything was connected right.. gave a blast of electrical cleaner to the contacts..said a prayer and it must have worked cause I was pushing it pretty hard lately and I have had any issues thus far, Turbosmart said it could be a loose connection.. hopefully it was !!!
