Tyres requirements for 525D (F10)

Hello

I am looking at a 525D 2013 Automatic but the wheels have been changed from the original 19" to 20" with 225/35/20 front and 275/30/20.

I asked BMW and was told that I would have to tell my insurance company, that the fitted tyres do impact on the gearing and also the speed indicator. I want a proper car and if it has been modified I want the changes to be above board.

Help

Moi

That's a small front tire if it's not a typo. Should be 245/35/20.

Depending on the width of that front wheel I would switch to a 245/35/20. I have 8.5 inch front and that's the size I run, doesn't need a stretch or funky fitment. Rears I have 275/30/20 and this is on an xDrive car with no issues
