What did you do to your 5 series today?

Switched the entire interior from an M5.. since my LCDF Beige was getting too old and boring.. and I plan to keep this for the forseeable future..

Oh also installed the Alpina steering wheel..lavalina leather is sooo soft..I feel like I should be wearing driving gloves to preserve it..

now need to get a spring cleaning done!!

very nice! was the M5 seats straight plug n play? did you have to code anything?

FYI,

I just wanted to try these as the price was fair. They are only slightly larger than the stock intake pipe. If we are serious about real flow, the custom intake pipe from @AZ-MCRacer seems to be a lot larger in diameter and much better quality as these pieces from FTP seem to have thin walls.

Since I already had seats with all options, it was pretty much straight swap and then VO code the seat modules and then let the car sleep to get rid of Airbag warnings. I also added 4MA to my FA.

How was the fitment?

Seems to fit alright during quick test. I can already tell that the inlet side from the air filter is a tad bit small and will have to put some really thin seal tape maybe on it for a better snug fitment. Will keep you posted.

Waiting for my water pump to come in before I reassemble everything as it was a task to remove all the bits to get the turbo out. Might as well replace everything I can while I'm in there

New tensioner, ofhg and oil cooler gasket replaced. No more leaks. Also my tensioner needed replaced a year before I picked up the car. Was a mess once I got them off. Cleaned the front of my engine once I got old tensioner off.

Looks great. Mind me asking how much to just powder coat the wheels separately and how much together? I am looking to do the wheels but wondering what people are paying. Thanks.
