H&R Sway Bars Finally Available in US for F10!!
http://www.hrsprings.com/application...ts/4/1303/2012 i been looking for these for ages and was afraid id have to order from germany and pay through the nose to get them! I almost just bought a set of m5 front/650i rear from a forum vendor that is some what local to me. then, suddenly, they appear on H&R website! these say for RWD only, however a forum member has installed them on an xdrive model?? FedM? luckily i'm RWD so i dont need to worry! i believe they fit all f10, 30mm front and 20mm rear. Bout to hit up the forum vendors for some deals on these! |

Not a bad price considering M5 front / 650i rear is about the same ballpark.

Awesomeeeee. Can anyone share experience with these compared to the m5/650i bars?
Yogi, I would also like to know the price quote from EAS as I am also in the area. Looking forward to the update. Last edited by srs_bsns; 04-15-2014 at 04:27 PM.. |

Yea, they are actually significantly thicker imo. 5mm thicker on the front and 4mm on the rear. Like you, I've also been been wanting to pick the up m5/650i bars, but the H&Rs seem promising.

can someone educate me?
1. What will the sway bars help with, will it be a noticeably better ride? 2. is the $470 prince includes both front and rear? 3. how easy are they to install? |

2. that is FedM price in europe, h&r seems to charge alot more for them in us market. we are trying to get some better pricing through group buy/forum vendor. so far best price on forum is $650 shipped, which is well above what a local shop is offering me. 3. not too difficult, if you know how to do basic mechanics and have a tool set, you should be fine. should take a shop about an hour to do them both. |

i can pick it up from a local shop for about $550. i'd love for pricing to be under $500, but i dont know what the margins are on these. shops need to make money too.
i'm seeing if i can organize a group buy since none of the vendors seem to be interested in setting it up. |

I may be interested in f&r bars provided that there is a way to absolutely confirm that it fits a 2014 550i with 704 suspension perfectly. For the longest time it was claimed that the M5 front bar fits, but as people have come to find out, the angle of the bar and the end link are aligned at an odd angle.

i don't know about 2014, per H&R website they match.
i'm probably going to just skip the group buy and buy these locally. doesn't seem to be enough interest from forum members or vendors... Plus my local performance shop offered me a much better deal than the only vendor willing to reply on here. |
