How to remove F10 Hood latch?

Hi. I’m trying to replace the hood locks on my f10. I tried to give it a go but have been having trouble removing it from its location, i think i am doing something.

Can anyone tell how I should go about this? Thank you in advance

Should be a pretty easy job

1. Disconnect ground cable

2. Remove all plastic trims / rubber around fender and front bumper

3. Remove center plate

4. Remove 4 screws for hood lock

5. Disconnect Bowden cable and plug

Yeah that’s what i did. After doing all that tho, the latch doesn’t want to move from its location. It is connected to anything else?

There is one bolt where number 1 is pointing. You may have to remove the bumper a little to access it.
