Coding out check engine light after coilover install
Hey all I'm looking into a set of KW v2 coilovers for my 2016 535i M Sport with electronic dampening control but the EDC delete kit is about $375 and I hear that you can have the light coded out for around $100. So if I have it coded out, will I still retain the sport mode feature? Or is that completely removed? Because obviously the suspension changes will no longer be in effect, but I would like to retain the improved throttle response. Also, can the dealership find out if it has been coded? Because I'm sure that will void warranty.
Feel free to point me in the direction of someone that might be able to help me with the coding too, thanks! Last edited by E90angeleyes; 12-17-2019 at 01:27 AM.. |

The H&R Height Adjustable Springs are made for the cars with electronic dampening according to what I understand. They're also about half (or less) the cost of KWs and you wouldn't have to code out a light or delete the option
