P112F and P0171 codes ( air leak ?)

Hi guys ,
It's my first time posting here ,so not sure if this is the right place to post , please relocate my thread if you need.

Just got a beautiful 2013 535i xDrive on 120k miles , black on black and I love the car. However is my first BMW so still learning .
The other day was driving fast in Sports mode , but also was a crazy windy day and got a check engine light. Weird enough , everything was ok while driving , and the light came on only when we started the car and the was an extreme amount of wind at exactly that second. My mechanic suggested it's a cold vacuum leak .

Here are the codes and the advanced data from the app FIXD .

Also for how long can you drive with these codes on ?( I cleared them with the app and they came back after 15 min of driving) Will be able to see my mechanic in 3-4 days....

Will appreciate any help on the topic !

Could be a few things. Could be maf sensor. Boost solenoid. Valve cover (which has the integrated pvc built in). Or just a stupid vacuum leak. You can do a smoke test to check for leaks. I'd start there before throwing parts at it.

Thanks guys. It turned out it really is the valve that was causing the problem

Are you referring to the boost solenoid? Glad it worked out. Easy and inexpensive. Thanks for getting back with a fix. That's what makes these forums work
