Transmission oil cooler location

Hi I just bought an f10 with a rod through the engine block.
Ordered a junkyard engine and have been working pulling this one and have a couple questions.
I have a transmission oil cooler reference here https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...lines/JPqFlgSe

I cannot find what this guide is talking about
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...ine/1VnXgaAUQv
I have the sport transmission, where on the engine is this located if I have it.
Here's the picture if you don't want to follow the link

I couldn't find any guides on this, will this be enough space with the intercooler and rad removed to pull the engine while leaving the trans?

I haven't removed an engine, but I'm pretty sure the engine is designed to be removed from the bottom; with the sub-frame. I believe I've seen YouTube's on removal.

You're correct, but it's also possible to pull from the top, more difficult but I don't have a lift or the engine tray.

Hey I'm in the same boat with one of my f10's. Bought at auction with rod through the oil pan. N55 is supposed to be bulletproof but I'm seeing more and more rod explosions. Anyway. I'm not sure where those lines are located. But I would just follow the lines from the radiator to the transmission. Keep us updated. Very curious how your project goes. As I'll be doing this once I located a motor.

Yeah I did, still can't find it. Hopefully I can pull without draining the trans since the fluid is $$$
