Just as the title says. I don't want to be the guinea pig. I recently replaced my LPFP with a Walbro 450. And forgot to make 1 connection before buttoning up and filling up. That connection was for the fuel level. So now I have no way of telling how much gas is in the tank except to guesstimate. Before I can open up again and plug it in I'm concerned if I open to soon all the fuel will spill over into my back seat. Is that the case. If the pump goes out after you just filled up and took it to a shop? Would that be the issue/have to be drained? Anyone have experience with that?

Well I did about 270 miles since I filled up. Figured I'd take a chance and crack it open. The fuel level was right at the rim. I wonder if there is some sort of baffle system in the tank. I would assume so for sloshing and noise. And again if you need to open at a full tank. Still a little nerve wracking. Plugged it in. And I'm sitting just over a 1/4 tank.

Today the fuel pump went out and with a full tank of gas. Just as I thought. If you crack it open it spills out. Guess there's an over flow. It spilled out and run under the car onto the floor. Lost about 1/3 to 1/2 tank of gas.
