Which offset
I have a 2016 535i M-sport and I'm looking into getting some new wheels. With 245/45 19x8.5 ET33 in the front and 275/35 19x9 ET44 in the rear I want to keep it staggered but go a little wider.
I was considering the Apex ARC-8 wheels. 19X9 ET28 for the front and for the rear there are two options: 19X9.5 ET22 or 19X9.5 ET33. Which option would be the better offset for the rear? Any other thoughts/concerns/experience with this setup? Suspension is currently stock but I will also be installing coilovers. TIA |

I'd go with the ET33 in the rear.

Putting spacers on will make the offset lower. So if you put a 10mm spacer on a ET33 wheel, it will make the offset ET23.

OP, here is a pic showing a profile view (somewhat) of my wheels, to give you an idea of what the offsets look like for my wheels, which are:
Front: 8.5 x 19", offset of 32mm; tires are 245/40/19 Rear: 9.5 x 19", offset of 35mm; tires are 275/35/19 So, at the very least, I think you will be fine with an offset of 33mm on a 9.5" wheel.

OP, for clearance, going with a 10.5" wheel and a 22mm offset means you have to be careful with the width of the tire you select. Going too wide may cause it to rub against the fender, even if the wheel clears it.

Everybody thank you for your tips and advice. You all have very beautiful cars. remmib has some nice photos but not you other two. Care to share any more pix of your cars?
Anyways I found this site https://www.willtheyfit.com/ which was pretty helpful. I'm actually planning to go with a 9.5 in the rear, not a 10.5. I think I'm going to go with the ET33. Thanks for input again and I'll be sure to post some pix once my vehicle has reached final form |

I have 20x9 et32 square setup. Does not rub with 255/35-20. ET32 @ 9" wide is almost flush in the rear. 5mm spacer will probably make it flush, but then any little puddle will throw crap all down the sides of your car...
