Is it too early for a Merry Christmas?

I don't think it has much to do with how long the car is sitting as much as it is how long between the car waking up and it being started.

Went to a BMW dealership today to get some nuts and and shit.. asked one of those BMW genius guys about the startup questions we had, couldn't get a straight answer out of the guy!!!

Okay…leaving work yesterday (like every M-F) and when I started the f15…the Merry Xmas startup appeared for the 1st time since changing it. Got home…shut down and took my briefcase into the house… and remembered I needed something from the grocery. So I go back out to the garage and give her a start and BAM!…the Xmas startup appears again.

Twice within an hour…still can’t account for the rhyme or reason.

....I'm telling u.. there isn't a set reason or time, it does what it wants... but I am still determined to find out

Yes it can, I programmed some buttons, save it to a thumb drive.. recoded the unit , all buttons were empty again, then just plugged the drive in and it worked
