Exclamation OEM BMW f10 ///M5 ///M6 Brake retrofit to None ///M cars?

Hello members, Has anybody did the OEM M5/M6 front and rear calipers retrofit to a NONE M cars yet? can I get some tips what to buy and need to complete this transformation?

Currently trying to fit it into a 13' f10 550i with Msport Package.

I did a little research, beside what I already know: Oem m5/M6 front and rear brake calipers, brake disc., pads, sensor and some cut brake lines included from the seller. ( what other item will I need? also on the rear brake, when I replace it with the M5/M6 brake disc. and calipers, will I able to use the E-Brake? since everything is electronic on our f10, it's suck with out it.)

I know there's a seller on ebay is selling the retrokit for front/rear adapter for $670+50 shipping. (included front/rear) goodridge lines. Don't know the product, does anyone buy from this seller yet? Pro/cons? (i think he's in this forum too, Lol...only if he would give members discount, that would be great..hahaha.)

If anyone did this retrofit, can you please post some pictures? Thanks. ( as of now, I think i'm the only guy that does this retrofit thread ) I hope this thread will help somebody that want to upgrade their brake, to be honest on money wise, I think this is the most efficient way and save you a lot of money. Hey, it's still Brembo 6 Pots calipers...still BMW still need to step up on their rear brake. Even Kia running Brembo front and rear calipers.

Finally I did the retrofit OEM M5/M6 Brembo 6 pots Brake with Tronik Brackets. Here's a few pictures, enjoy.

Front Left 550i Brake..

Compare with factory oem 550i Brakes.

55nm or 40.75lbs but I think I did 50lbs

Rear Right Brakes..

This requires some cutting on aluminum dust shield for the new bracket clearance.

I cut straight up from where the picture show, that's all it need to clear the rear bracket. If you have a power tool, it will be much easier and faster, otherwise you can just cut it with a metal cuter.

Always apply Anti-Seize on Caliper bolts and around the Brake disc. That shit take forever to come off.

Here's the Front Left Brake, as you can see the dust shield has been trim to clear the brake caliper bracket. Also, you don't need the hose bracket because it will not clear the bracket. Just use a zip tie or something. Remember to use Anti-Seize for easy installation, like I said, a impact gun make everything easier.

Another angle shot of the front Brake caliper bracket from the Russian guy. Quality is not tested so I couldn't tell you yet, I'll have to finish the installation and do a test run. Hope fully I've tight everything and did the bleeding correctly.

To be Continues...

and the color choice is...

to be continues...

( UPDATE! ) Bleeding kit & Brembo Decals, Next is Clear coats and Installation

Update!

The stupid kit did not work, fluid cap did not fit correctly and it was leaking air pressure. So I have to return it. Is a 2 man job now, BMW service tech advice to do 3 pump on the brake and hold, while the other open the caliper screw. Repeat this process 3 times for each calipers. Starting RL, RR, FL and FR calipers. Make sure your fluid level is top and never let it go low or empty. That's all to it...

Here's a few pix after powder coated and installed.

Never mind, the guy who I bought it from told me that this is NOT fromt he M5, it's from the M6 grand coupe, so the rotors will be different.

I'm gonna have to return it and look for the M5 brake caliper and rotors.

Those expensive ass adapters from russia are the only ones out there, I looked for months and found nothing. I was going to have a machinist make them for me but I decided it wasn't worth it (for me) to upgrade to m5 brakes since the stock brakes are pretty good. Either bite the bullet on the rusky brakets or find a shop to make them, get the cad file, build and sell a couple sets and make your money back. That was my plan.

I remember inquiring about it a few years ago and i remember that quote from them and decided it wasn't worth it when you can just get a Brembo BBK fot like $2200+
