Hi all, just joined and I have a problem which hopefully someone can help with.

As per title, recently bought a white 520SE 2015 LCI, it comes with the basic ROUTE map (2015 version) and when I tried to pull the FSC I was given an error about not being able to write FSC to file.

I read on the forum that on the HU_ENTRYNAV the FSC cannot be pulled using the Esys / ENET combo. There was an FSC code provided with the car, but that must have been a one time use only and is not working.

Can anyone help please, either to provide the FSC or let me know how to get it?

Hey, this post is still here, sadly didn't get any response!

Thought I'd update it, I managed to get an FSC from an unofficial source for £20 and was able to update to the 2020 map.

I (last year) installed a 12" Android GPS head unit and have been using Google Maps, and Android Auto since, much better than the BM maps you get on the EntryNAV headunits (Route). Unit wasn't too bad cost wise (£420 with free rear parking camera from AliExpress) and install was quite easy, plenty of videos on youtube.

How much for updating bmw navigation and did bmw service centre's did it got u or u did it by urself ?
