Yup definitely! Considering changing the interior handle cap to black as well to match the trim.

For anyone that's curious or interested, I took some pics of a full handle replacement that I original purchased from eBay before going with the black trim route. Quality and feel is really nice, very similar to OEM and color is fairly close. As mentioned by another member, you would only be able to tell the difference if you installed it. Part was about $34.

This one on ebay looks like the window switch covers are the same size

That looks like the same seller I purchased my kit from. I think you should be good.

FYI, this is a quick snapshot of the message I received from the seller on the size of the rear window switches.

4Romie, I can confirm the window switch covers are the right size. I bought the same kit from the same seller but in black and got a chance to install the replacement trim on one of my rear doors this morning. Fits perfectly.

I bought this kit for my Cinnamon interior. Matches pretty well and feels great! no more sticky bs. Make sure you buy a kit that has all small switches (3x) for passenger front and the rears.

From deduction it seems that maybe the F18 variant (not sold in the US) utilizes those larger switches in the rear where the F10 uses the smaller ones. The ad below says the message them after purchase to specify F10 vs F18.

Build quality is solid. I was a bit worried that some tabs might not be aligned but everything just snapped back into place like oem pieces. It feels much better than the gunky wax from the original trim pieces. No complaints here for such a cheap kit🙂

I tried following the newtis "instructions" but one thing is unclear to me. Do these pieces just pop out or does the door panel have to be removed?

TIA

Door panel has to be removed as most of these trim pieces have T20 and T30 screws holding them against the panel

They look very good and look even better and better every time you use your car. And no more crappy handles.

Great thread! My driver's handle is mush. The other doors seem fine. Will likely just do the driver's door only.

John H. for the extra hand full of dollars replace the whole lot, all 7 pieces.

The original rubbish material that BMW used, and profited from, does not deserve to be in the interior of our cars. Just replace the lot and enjoy, never to think about the horrible handles again.

I replaced my driver's side handle back in May for the same reason. Super easy & was like $40 from ECS Tuning or Amazon (don't remember where I bought it). You do have to remove the door panel, but again is very easy to do.

Good morning Bob. Thanks for the suggestion. While having my morning coffee, took a look at the other doors. The passenger handle is jacked up, peeling. Definitely, ordering the 7pc set is a better value. Thanks again.

I've seen several DIY videos, and it does seem fairly straightforward. I just looked on AMZ, LF pull handle is $27, and complete 7pc set is $36. I am going to choose the later, as I just discovered my RF handle is jacked up. My rears seem ok but might as well replace them with a new set. Thanks for the advice.
