Lightbulb Agressive fitment

Greeting folks!

After a long week of research from the forums, and using wheels calculations i feel confident fitting

bronze Rohana RFX7 on a dark blue 2015 m sport 528i stock suspension

new setup:

the fronts will be 20x9 et20 with 255/35/20 tires
the back 20x11 et 28 with 295/30/20 tires.

My current setup right now is the 18x8 et 30 oem m sport wheels with 245/45/18 tires in the front and 18x9 et 44 oem m sport wheels with 275/40/18 tires in the rear.

As far as my calculations rotational mass is close with a one-inch poke from old to the new setup.

I currently have 1.75 inches of fender space right now so all calculations add up. what are your thoughts?

I have not dropped her at all yet to make sure fitment is correct first. any tips and advice is GREATLY appreciated. I'll be looking to pulling the trigger on the rims Monday and the tires in 3 weeks.

thank you again, team!

You might want to recheck the amount of 'poke' you have on your rear wheels. My math says that your proposed rear wheels are going to poke over 1.6" further outwards than your original rear wheels. Before you consider offset, the rear wheel will stick out 1" further than the old wheel since it is 2" wider. Then, you add the additional 16mm reduction in offset, which moves the wheels 16mm outwards (approx .63") , and you will find that the outside rim of the rear wheel will move over 1.6" outwards relative to your original rear wheel. Your front wheels move outwards just under 1".

Very aggressive, especially in the rear. I've got 20x11 ET46 with 295/30/20, and that just clears the fenders.

Thank you for your help, it means alot! Do you mind showing any pictures of your setup? Are you dropped at all? Do you think +33 offset might make more sence? I've seen some dudes run 20x12 with a 35 offset or a 21x11 in the rear with 35 offset. I wonder how they managed that..

So your saying there's a chance..... 😂😂😂😂 thanks for your input I'll re check my measurement from my current wheel to fender tonight. I may go +33 offset to tuck them in 5 cm.. would there be a difference??

Would it be that the cars with ET35 were M5's?
Lots of pics in my thread.

The M5 has a lower offset, OEM wheels in the rears are 20x10 ET34.

Granted the oem wheels are different but as far as chassis and fender space arnt all f10's Identical? In your opinion since your running 11's what is the most aggressive do you think I could get away with with a 295/30 tire?

Will I have any issues in the front with the 255/35 on 20x9 et 20?

Rear fenders are the same, but the suspension must be different since the M5 can fit wheels with a lower offset. Front fenders on the M5 are wider than on the non M5.
Lowest possible offset depends on the tires, I now got Michelin PS4S 295/30, and under full suspension compression, they're just gracing the inner lining of the fenders, but not the fenders itself. This is not a problem with daily driving.

Fronts depends how low your car is

After our discussion, I decided to use your setup as a foundation since I know that's the holy area. What if I went 285/30/20 on a 20x11 et 36? 285-295 is ideal tire size for an 11. right? From my calculations that is a 5mm poke difference from your 295/30/20 20x11 et 46 setup. thoughts?

Sure 285/30/20 will work on 11'' wide wheels, just with a little more stretch than I've got. Hard to say if ET36 will work, I'd expect some rubbing with enough suspension compression. Don't think I'd go lower than ET40.

I think ive found a solution.. lol i had to compromise with the offset to stay close to your setup. from my calculations i should be safe with 20x10.5 +38 in the rear with 285/30/20 i could probably go a little lower on the offset but thats the lowest offset that Rohana RFX11 makes in 10.5 and in 5.120.

thoughts?

also, has anyone seen dark blue car with bronze wheels? I hope it comes out as good as i think it will!

i'm also running a very aggressive fitment 21× 9.5 et30 21×11 et38 with front: 255/30/21 rear: 295/25/21 with super deep concavity. probably gonna run some spacers up front this spring?

funny! Ive been studying both your and Remmib's fitment for days trying to find a wheel with your offset but it's been hell and high water. I ended up buying bronze RFX7's 21x9 +35 in the front and 21x10.5 +40 in the rear. That was literally the best I could find without going into three priced wheels. This fitment is damned near exacly to Remmibs and his fitment on point. So I'm satisfied

All of the 21×11 were crazy really high at +50 or stupid low at +20. Shopping started off fun and now I'm just glad its over.. lmao

You've been VERY helpful (I found some of your old posts) Very big ups to both of you!

Awesome! Glad you got it squared away. Mine was pretty simple since they're custom so I was able to get the offsets for what I was looking for. Yes the 3 piece does cost more so I went forged and so far so good! How long before you get the wheels?

On their way! i CANNOT wait. Im buying the summer build piece by piece; in two weeks ill be getting coilovers, and an exhaust. I don't know what brand im going to get for either but i hear Magnaflow exhausts sound sporty and megan coils work well. what do you think?

I know that feeling when you have a shipment of wheels on the way! That's freakin exciting can't wait to see them on. My entire build of my car took a few years whereas I see guys getting it done in 1. I have other things like family, house projects and other things that I have to work in the budget so take your time. I think you'll enjoy it more that way.

Good reviews with the Megan Coilovers from what I've seen. Look out in the MarkePlace for deals on coilovers by guys turning in their leases. Maybe you'll get a great deal on some KW's like I did.

Not a fan of throwing Magnaflows on a BMW. I would look into the Remus Exhaust for your 528 with the quad design

the one above however look really good. maybe its beaouse its from underneath?

i planned on putting down 2500 of mods here in the next week in addition to the Rohana's i already bought. if you can think of some good mods id love the input. the ride height and lack of decent exhaust note annoys the shit outta me.
