2015 550i xDrive M sport mod question...
I'm dying to do something to my car!
I wanted to do Bootmod3 and a downpipe but can't yet due to warranty/DEQ worries. My question: What performance mods can I do that will not void my manufacture warranty and still pass DEQ? Unfortunately, I still have 60,000 miles left on the extended warranty I bought and don't want to risk a repair not being covered or not passing the DEQ tests. I was thinking of a cat-back exhaust? But is the one on the 550i M-sport upgradable? Meaning is it worth upgrading or is the one on there just as good? If so, what brand/model do you suggest? Any other mod ideas/suggestions considering I don't want to void my warranty and I need to pass DEQ? |

Do this https://burgertuning.com/collections...-x5-50i-models
Just unplug it when you go in for service, that’s what I did with 0 issues |

A Cat back exhaust is about the noise/sound and looks, any that you like the sound of will work. If you want different sound/more noise its the way to go. Otherwise your best bang for the buck is a tune to increase performance, then hardware upgrades.
