Should I change my F10 gearbox transmission oil?

I have a 2011 523i F10. During my usual car servicing, the workshop advise me to change my transmission oil and filter, my mileage is (198,000km).
Transmission is working fine, I've never changed my transmission fluid before, I hear that BMW advertises it as lifetime but nothing lasts forever.
Should I or should I not change my transmission oil? Can anyone share your experience?
Much appreciated

Change it. If flushing the fluid exposes transmission problems then the problem was already there masked by the old oil.

Lifetime just means the lifetime of the product; which means nothing. If the product fails at 100 miles or 100 thousand miles then that was the product's life.
