Configuring driving mode settings
Hey all. I have been seeing and reading all over forums and youtube videos that there is a feature to configure driving mode settings. For example for sport mode, you can change the settings to affect only drivetrain, only suspension, or both. In my 2016 M-sport 535i, I do not have this option? I do have the eco, comfort, sport, and sport+ selector. But I don't have the option to configure those settings in driving mode.
Would this imply that I don't have adaptive suspension? Because to be honest, when I put in sport mode, I really don't feel the suspension tighten up at all. The only difference I notice is the throttle response (and that it keeps me out of 8th gear). What exactly are the other adjustments sport mode makes then? I am planning to get the KW coilovers. There is the EDC delete kit which is about $375 and I thought that is required for adaptive suspension otherwise the CEL will go off. So do I need the coilovers with the EDC delete kit or not? Thanks in advance |
