muffler delete question

Hi guys, I'm planning to delete the mufflers on my 2014 F10 with the N55 engine, is there any negative reason not to do this mod? In the past I deleted the muffler on my old 2007 E92 with the N51 SULEV engine with wonderful results and I expect the same on the F10 but I know that the N51 is a natural aspirated car and the N55 is a turbo engine and want to know your opinion here guys ! Thanks in advance.

I did in on my N52 528, holy crap it droned bad. I had them put a magnaflow muffler instead of the oem muffler and it's perfect. No drone and sounds amazing, not too loud at all. Look into that. Cost me $180.

I have a video on my youtube channel of my cold start on my F10 N55 muffler delete, it does drone a tiny bit between 2k-3k but if you drive gently it will rarely happen. It's really not bad at all.

I dont recommend it, it drones and does not sound good in my opinion.

Do it, I did it for my 535i when I had it. There is a little drove and the cold start is loud but its soo worth the exhaust note.

If the car is catless - don't do it, it will drone. If not catless do it.

Don't do it. Get a proper exhaust with a valve closure or look into j pipes if you do wack it completely off lol

I believe you did the muffler delete bro right than ended up doing the j-pipes afterwards?
