Do f30 3 series headlights work on the f10 5 series?

I ask because the f10 5 series headlight selection is next to nothing and i like the look of the halos on the f30 gen and was curious if they were reverse engineer able/ retro fit able

HID or LED? But does it really matter because the shape of the headlights are totally different. Or are you referring to only the innards of the headlight assembly?

How good are you at body work? And hopefully you have enough money to pay for the redesign if you can't fashion the body panels yourself...because the shape of these two model's headlights are totally different...thus their fitment into the side fenders, hood, and front bumper will need to be redone:

{F30 headlight}

{F10 headlight}

I guess some still have difficulty with the square peg/round hole puzzle.

I understand that they do not fit. I simply want the look of the f30 headlights for the f10.

I dont like how the f10 headlights are two individual halos instead of the f30 hexagonal/ U aftermarket look.

I don't know of any aftermarket companies that make what you're looking for. I'm sure you could always retrofit some in with a good body shop who specializes in custom stuff
But it's going to be money

I would bet he is talking about the Icon LED Adaptive that now come on the G30.
https://www.google.com/url?q=https:/...ZvKz61xO8ib4Yo
Seems a lot of people like these, I don't.
But as the others have said, they won't fit, so you would have to swap bits and hope the shapes fit.
Gonna be an expensive test/mod.
Here is an of of what you can expect, unless you luck up on a totalled one.

Take a look at Bavgruppe Headlights.

another option would be to pick up a set of angel eyes from Aliexpress. All these special vendors essentially get it from the same factory in Asia. Might as well just get it directly from the source for 1/4 of the cost.

Heres an example

I've been thinking of doing the retrofit myself, so I will keep this thread updated if I do proceed with it as previous e46's I've done was easy, the seal on the f10 will be much harder.
