I would like to find out which years did the F10 have timing chain issues and other recalls? I am looking for a diesel 520d eco.

It'll be hard to get a real response out of anyone in this thread (Most drive 35/50's). You're better off searching the F30 threads for more N20 related issues/questions however see below in regards to the TC

The 2l diesel in the F10/11 series between 2010-1014 was the notorious N47 (first appeared in 2007) - just google problems with this engine...

BMW claimed all timing-chain related problems of the N47 were eliminated first by 2009, then 2011, but in reality these appeared even on 2013 models. By the way, I drive a 2010 F11 520d...

The OP is asking about the 4 cylinder diesel; the N20 is a 4 cylinder petrol.
