In reference to the grilles, did you ever change them? If not, my opinion is to keep them the way they are! HAHA
Ended up not changing the grills. My wife loves the silver. I took one for the team.

In fact X-Drives in some overseas markets come with staggered wheels. We all know that our stealers, I mean dealers, know less about these cars than we do. Not sure why we continue to take their word on everything.

OP, GLWS, these are beautiful wheels, and extremely rare.

Glad you kept the silver grilles- I like them better than the black. Plus makes is a little more distinct since non-V8s have black on the sides of the slats.

Hi Bake! Yup… I spoke at length with my service advisor.. he got the "shop foreman" involved, and then they contacted BMW N. America… and they all told be ABSOLUTELY NOT, do NOT run Staggered… and then they showed me some web site where you enter your VIN and it will show you the ONLY OEM wheels that are compatible… and won't void your warranty… Yup.. we spoke.. and you were super cool about it.. I just don't want to remotely risk voiding the manufacturer's warranty… And yes, those wheels are STELLAR!!!

Hi swalsh and everyone,

1. This spacer and bolts kit you bought before is still available here: http://r.ebay.com/Mnkhva but it doesn't have anti-theft bolts. Does anyone know where I can find quality 48mm anti-theft bolts (for rear).

2. What should be the length of bolts for the front with 10mm or 12mm spacers ?

3. Some spacers are chrome while others are black. Does it make any difference when wheels are set. What would you recommend ?

swalsh2333 I have the same wheel with tyre but I felt the wheels are pretty heavy and while braking the car doesn’t stop immediately and I can feel the weight and making the car little sluggish . Did u felt the same or is it cause I run run flat Dunlop tyres ?
