Can't imagine why it couldn't.

Other than the CF bit and the flashy lights its the same as what is in mine.

i think i ran across a thread some time back but i believe you would need a new airbag if the wheel you order or get doesn't come with one? also, all the plugs have to be straight plug and play which i don't recall if they are. and coding would be needed. i swapped mine out with a custom Ledermanz steering wheel which i was able to reuse my airbag and connections. i tried doing a quick search for you but couldn't find anything regarding M5 steering wheel retrofit to a F10

I am confirming that it will. I have done it on mine (535xi-2013) and used M5/M6 Steering wheel, exactly the one that is featured on the picture above. You will have to purchase the Air Bag and Steering Control Module, as the one in current wheel won't fit. Word of advice if are planning on using www.realoem.com for part number. For my model the Steering Control module had an identical part number from non-Sport wheel to M5/M6 steering wheel-should work and I learned from other member that it's a typo and won't fit. Therefore buying another one was required. You might have to buy all other pieces to make a full assembly, all depends on M5/M6 wheel you are getting.

I want to install that steering wheel on my 2014 F10 550xi.
What is the steering wheel control module I need?
Can you pls give me a part number.
I did some research and I read sometimes pin 11 (earth) is missing and the wheel wont power up.
Is that why you need a new control module?
Thx

No, I want to buy one and install it in my 550.
Before I buy it I want to make sure it works.
I’ve seen posts saying it does but you need extra parts because sometimes the Steering wheel doesnt light up.

Do you currently have a wheel like the one pictured (with the orange center line and carbon trim bottom) installed? Do you plan to sell that after you upgrade? I'm a willing buyer if so.

I have a wheel that looks like the M Performance one but w/o lights and race display.
It is the one that came in all 5 series with M package after 2014.
I am willing to sell it after I upgrade.

I replaced the non LCI heated steering wheel with M5 non-heated steering wheel, and obviously the m5 can not be plugged into the heating circuit.. it gives me a Driver restraint system malfunction code. The wheel's buttons work just fine.. all of them (except the M1 and M2 of course).. the horn works as well but it throws this annoying Driver restraint system malfunction codes:
930910
93090A

Do you guys think it's because of the wheel not being plugged into the heating circuit???

Thanks
