Hello form Toronto everyone. Wanted to introduce myself. Just traded my 2010 C63 AMG for a 2015 BMW 535d xDrive. Could not be happier with the decision. I will try to take some pictures over the weekend. It does not have an M-Package. In fact, it is pretty basic. All it has is a back-up camera and a HUD.

Artem

EDIT: Crappy first pic attached.

Lol! I'm going to keep it stock for the most part. I'm doing the ABC deletes and a tune. That's about it. It's a DD so I don't feel like going too crazy with it. I do want an Alpina B5 front lip though... And maybe some rims... Damn it.

Uh huh! That's how it starts! 1 mods 2 mods and than you'll convince yourself that's it until the mods bug bites you again

Congrats! The 535d is a great car. Lots of low end torque to get you going but it's certainly not a C63 AMG. But the C63 doesn't get 40 MPG on the highway and 25+ around town. Enjoy your new ride.

Thanks! The C63 was the best car I have ever owned. But my priorities have changed. I needed something more usable for everyday and something completely different from the C63. I was looking at SUVs but I like the old school body-on-frame type SUVs which these days are rather large and not so great on gas. I test drove the 535d and fell in love. It's comfortable and has more than enough grunt to conquer downtown traffic. The mileage it produces is almost unbelievable in comparison to the C63. :

Have same car and wheels, but in white. Great vehicle on long trips and equally good relative to fuel consumption. Last 200-mile trip yielded (per car's trip computer) 42 mpg at about 70 mph. Too bad BMW is killing off its diesels in the US (and presumably Canada).

Congratulations Bud. I just got my CPO 2016 535d as well a week ago. It’s a great car indeed. I like the handling and especially the gas mileage. I couldn’t be happier.

Damn, I didn't realize there was that big a difference between the diesel mpg and gas. I might have to rethink what I've been lusting after.

Beautiful car, btw... What did they want for it? Was the warranty still in effect? Inquiring minds want to know.... :-) Thx

From what I've read "d" cars aren't too amiable to city only driving. They like/need to be wrung out (long drives) on a regular basis.

I still have the warranty until Sept. 2020. I purchased
an extended CPO warranty for another 2 years and maintenance
for another 4 years.
I had a good deal. From $42K I made them
Lower down to $33.5K. It has 4 packages: M-Sport,
Driver Assistance, luxury and navigation/xirius.
I love it. Acceleration is fantastic. I drive 60 miles/day
round trip to &f from work and has only to fill my tank
every 13 days.
