Two of my classmates went there for the recovery efforts. One was there the next week and survived. He was operating robots to clean graphite pieces from the roof. The rest of the his group passed within 3 months. The other went there one year later, he is in good health still. And that happened on my birthday...

This bird is a Shrike, AKA a 'butcher bird.' They're called this because of a strange and gruesome habit of impaling their victims on thorns or sharp branches.

Used to see these around the farm. They hang them on barbed wire fences too, so you see all these little skeletons hung on the fence when one is around. LOL

Spotted this car in the local Dodge dealer's showroom.

Didn't ask for any details. But I figured if it was for sale -- don't recall a sign though -- the price was probably astronomically high....

It's a 70 - so not the top desirable year, but still a SUPER nice example and still fetching a nice price tag - if all original - a BIG price tag.

As bad as those old B bodies rusted out - original ones are super rare.

Not sure if "cool" but when was the last time you saw a pager? Was at a party and a friend is a cardiac nurse who was currently on call. I guess they use pagers still instead of just calling you on your cell phone. Thought it was cool. I am not as old as some of you, but my dad had a pager growing up, so it was a fun blast from the past.

Another cool-ish pic. My iPhone 13 Pro compared to an Iphone 3g we found cleaning my friends house. It was the second gen iphone and the first iphone where you could *checks notes* film video!! Crazy to think the first one could only take stills.
