I had to buy a headlight and ended up finding a very good price empty shell, I have purchased everything other than the main tms module for the light as im not sure which one i need.

Could any one advise?

Your 1st picture is what BMW calls the "Control Unit, Xenon", and your original 2015 part that carries a part number of 63127296090 has been superseded by part number 63117317408, which is found secured to the bottom of your headlight assembly.

Your 3rd picture is what BMW calls the "Headlight Driver Module" or "Headlight Ballast Module", and has many, many part numbers and is mounted to the rear of the headlight assembly. So if you don't have adaptive headlights, then the part number looks to be 63117355073, but if you have adaptive headlights, it looks like the part number is 63117440877.

You will need to use "REALOEM.COM" to verify the correct part number for your "Headlight Driver Module".

My preference, which may not be yours per se, if a new factory part isn't an option, would be to source a 2nd hand factory part from eBay. For me, electronics sourced from China, is never an option.
