Hi,
apples12, what year is your car. Mine is an f10 lci 04/14 and still a bit wary of trying VO to 6NS. I have the software, but this laptop aint reliable enough I`m going to try bimmercode expert working through the list, but does it still give the same result in the end? Or does it need some bespoke tweaking? Cheers for anyones thoughts Coli |

Enhanced bluetooth through BimmerCode
Coded this today with bimmercode expert mode and it all works great with a few changes to the original list.
I left one microphone active, svs , system tts and CE device recognition as they were to avoid losing the voice control. Still don't have album art or sms though. The highlighted lines are the ones I had to change for my car which I believe has the combox built into NBT headunit. Ive attached my list, mebbe helps somebody Coli |

Can someone advise if this is possible with Bimmercode?
I have a 2011 535i and I am trying to activate Enhanced Bluetooth, but no luck yet. I do have the Comm box in my trunk and I can connect via Bluetooth for calls, but no media. I have tried the process attached above, but don't have some of the modules listed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

If I attempt to VO code this with Esys, can someone please advise what's best process. From the DIY instructions on coding I am assuming I would add the 6NS however the instructions mention deleting some other code. What would I need to delete in this scenario? Also, is there a list of others beneficial VO codes to add while I am knocking this out?

Remove: 8S4 (variable light distribution). Your headlights change their patterns a bit depending on speed. Add: 2TB if you don't have Sport Automatic Transmission). Unless you FDL code to disable paddles, it'll throw a missing paddles error. Up to you if you care about this or not. If this is your first time VO coding, track what FDL codes you have, and VO code all modules besides DME with engine running. |

Ok, well this is my first time coding via ESys. I also have Bimmercode, so I've coded the power folding mirrors, sports display and removed the legal notices.
Sorry, I'm still learning they system. Are you saying I can VO code these features as well or will I just need to recode them with Bimmercode. |

Can anyone shed some light on this for me. I just did my first ESys coding session and I activated and added the 6NS to my CIC, however I don't seem to have bluetooth. I went through the remove and pair process and it's still not there. Furthermore, the instructions I went through said to code the "HU_CIC" and then code the "CMB_MEDIA" ECU if present. I cannot find this ECU in my SVT list, however I have a silver computer box mounted to above my rear driverside wheel. If this isn't the Comm Box then what is it?

BMW is stupid for making the enhanced BT a option for some years then standard for some. Very confusing. Bluetooth should just work. Good think we can code it given it is not before 9/10 prod.

Main things: Library browsing via BT, can connect 2 phones at once, an additional mic above the passenger, and a few other things like Office. A good way to check for it is to see if you have the second mic above the passenger. |

Can someone please help me with a quick question. I currently have the TCU and MULF. I just purchased a Combox #84109257153 for retrofit as well as a TCU & MULF adapter harness off ebay. Can someone tell me if I will need the MOST termination loop and bluetooth cable as well? Sorry, this starts to get confusing after hours of searching.
