Higher miles newer car or lower miles older car?

Just sold my f30 at 140k miles 2013 N26. Looking to get into an N55. PPI contingent. Which is the better buy?

Year of car, actual mileage, maintenance record, accident history, etc. would help. A lower miles older car would be my preference given other factors first.

2014-2016 100k miles

There is also a 2013 with 54k miles for sale.

Assuming the 2013 car checks out, seems like a better choice.

I'd go for the LCI; 2014+. Highway miles are pretty easy on the drivetrain.
