You mean after prototyping the bends, they didn't let you keep it on your car?

Yes because the prototype isnt polished.
Even though personallly dont care, its under the car.

But they need the prototype to make the acutal systems, they have 2 prototypes one for 2011-13 and 2014.

Long process, but for the money, no brainer, I personally couldnt justify buying a M5 exhaust // no gains, minor sound. MY OPINION.

This is specific to our car. Made for our car, its full not axle back.
Price is extremely competitive.

We sold a bunch so far, I think 4-5 left. for 1st patch.

Has anyone heard any updates from LSD on their production status? June is right around the corner I ordered a set with valves about a month ago.

Niceee. I'm getting the 1st unit soon. Production unit not prototype. I'll be doing a dyno with stock downpipes 1st. Then put my downpipes on and do a downpipe and lsd system together to see the difference.

Same dyno. Same day.

I've been holding off putting my downpipes on for this dyno for u guys. Makes me sad I miss the sound from my catless er pipes.

I thought the point of the system was to have zero drone, regardless of valve/valveless version?

Yes regardless it's designed to reduce drone and exhuast sound in general when you don't want it.

Not sure to what comment your referring to but maybe I wrote something wrong so I'll clarify.

System valves or not is designed to have no drone.

Valves units are designed to be less noisey whole crusing but when you gas it valve opens and you get all your sound back.

Hope this helps.

Are there any additional updates on the system? The expected ship date on the website said 5/19/2014 however I still haven't even gotten a shipping notification on mine...

I was pointing out NeonZ when he said he was going for the version with the valves to prevent any drone. As you pointed out, valve or valve-less, there wouldn't be any drone, so it is really a matter of preference for how often you want that V8 growl to be heard; full time (valve-less) or WOT (valve).

after purchasing this system I am debating now if it will fit with the M5 diffuser, since LSD is building it for the 550 exhaust bumper holes, M5 diffuser holes are some what more moved in toward center of the car and have wider diffuser length on the sides. any input be great.

Got reply from Mike today:

"Hey Vlad, thank you for your email. I apologize for not having an exact date at this point, but we are getting very close. The specific run for systems without valves is set to begin in 10 days. General it takes about 7 days to complete the run from beginning to end including polishing and boxing them up. I will notify you with a more exact date in 8-10 days."

I don't think it will be an issue. A good exhaust shop should be able to bend the pipes coming from the LSD's singe muffler so that they come in a few inches without being on an angle. It may make the tips stick out a centimeter or two more, but that could be fixed by re-mounting the tips.

Ya Mike called my appointment for the 2014 model is Tuesday.
He told me your car goes in on Friday can't wait to see what happens.

My dyno will be before and after with downpipes only, not going to do a baseline. waste of money.
We will have stock vs full lsd on your car
my car will be:

Catless downpipes and LSD vs Catless Downpipes and stock system.
