F11 12v socket issue

Evening guys,

The armrest 12v in my wife's F11 has stopped supplying power, all other sockets work fine & BMW have confirmed it's not a blown fuse.

They want the car for a full day to investigate the cause, which we'll struggle with since my wife now works from home (20 miles from dealer).

Anyone got any ideas as to what the cause may be, along with a straightforward fix (fingers crossed!) we could try first?

Thanks!

Hi, thread revival.

I had a similar problem. My son dropped a coin in the power socket, which blew the fuse. I removed the coin, but the fuse still blew. 3 times over...

To cut a long story short, unplugging the socket from the loom, then plugging in again fixed it!
