M-Sport Bumper Kit Experience

Hey guys. Was looking around for a M sport front bumper for my F10 535i and came across this one on ECS Tuning, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this one since it’s their own part instead of OEM bmw part.

It's the same as the ebay kits. Probably drop shipped from the same warehouses.

FWIW eBay has euro spec Msport bumpers. I was worried about fit and quality but it was much better than expected.

Check out the M- bumper kits that Kies Motorsport sells. I had one installed recently and fitment and quality are top notch. And there are no side marker cut outs either.

Also, for those looking into M sport bumpers, it doesn't matter if it has PDC/side camera holes or not. Almost every aftermarket bumper I've seen has the "targets" for where to drill the PDC and side camera holes already marked. 18mm is the proper diameter, I believe.

Anybody looked at the cheaper alternatives ? Like the car part one for 184? I’ve seen decent reviews from them. Anybody with experience?

car-part.com is a junkyard indexing website, so you're going to need to be more specific.

my base model has the cresent shaped ber reflector and the bumper vendor's model doesn't have the slot to reseat the oem reflector.

Is that reflector ok that I not reseat it because it's not wired to anything or anywhere? Or am I wrong?

U.S. Federal DOT regulations call for amber reflectors on either side of the car near the front, and red reflectors on either side near the rear.

Is it "ok"? Well.....that sort of a relative term. Your car would no longer comply with Department of Transportation regulations without them installed.

Personally, I'm "ok" with that.

It's just a reflector, it's not connected to anything.
