I just bought this from eBay and, looking at yours, I'm worried now... although it looks like a different type. I specifically looked for mine with a bit more curves under the wing.

What do you think is the reason of fading? Sun, rain, etc? My rear diffuser is also from eBay and is doing fine after more than a year, even with high heat from the exhaust. I park my car in the garage most of the time.

alot of bought ours from the same vendor when this mirror initially came out and a post/thread was created i forgot how long ago. today i don't have any issues with mine as they still look brand new. no where close to what yours look like. maybe a quality issue? i did ceramic coat mine not to long ago. but i have yet heard any of the members report having quality issues lately

Mine has done the same. Its the "clear coat" peeling up cause moisture. I just recleared mine.
