Series 5 f11 map update failure to start

Greetings,
when I try to updating via USB stick, with Europe west NEXT 2023-2 maps,
despite having, if necessary, the FSC code for my car, the system recognizes that there is an update on the stick, but then does not ask for any code and the message "connect the USB1 device to start the update" appears, after which it does not nothing happens anymore and the message remains on the display constantly. Obviously inside the USB stick there are all the necessary files. It is only possible to cancel the update. FAT32 formatted flash drive. I've try to tested card reader with 32GB SD, 64GB FAT32 stick and 128GB FAT32 formatted stick.
Does anyone have a possible solution? Thank you and I'm waiting, thank you.

Sorry,
the right file are these (Europe West Next 2023-2)
The previous one is (Europe West Next 2023-1) but the folder structure is the same.

Try extracting the maps again, or use another source to download the maps

Thank you but I've used two kind of compressed file for Europe West 2023-2 and I also used one of 2023-1. Same problem. Actually I have 2022-1 version.

You can try wiping the current maps and installing the new maps.

Hello,
do you mean in the usb stick or in a car?
In second case I don't know how and if this is a risky operation.

You can try copy only the folder 1 alone and see if it helps.
You can try this by if the maps itself are not correctly placed then issue might still be there. You might loose current maps and might not be able to update maps.
Wiping the maps from the headunit.
a) Launch C:\EDIABAS\Bin\TOOL32.EXE (Run as Administrator and make Sure Windows Firewall is disabled)
b) Hit F3
c) Load C:\EDIABAS\Ecu\NBT.PRG
d) In the "Select Job: F01" window, select "steuern_routine"
e) Press on "argument wizard" and from top drown down box select "SAFEMODE_HDD", and then from right side drop down "safemode aus"
f) Hit F5
g) "Results" window should show "JOB_STATUS = OKAY"
h) In the "Select Job: F01" window, select "steuergeraete_reset"
i) Hit F5. "Results" window should show "JOB_STATUS = OKAY" and NBT2 Head Unit should Reboot

Many thanks "TheNine90" for your help.
I appreciate for the honest and precise information.
From what I understand, the procedure is carried out on the car using an electronic tool which I certainly don't have and the possible consequences may also prevent me from using the maps which are working at the moment and which would probably force me to go to a BMW dealership for repairs. . Since I will soon be selling this car to buy a 5 series g31, I had thought of giving the future owner the car with the updated maps, since last year I had done the procedure without problems in the same way.
If I can't do it myself, never mind, he'll have to take care of it.
If there are other ways, I'm waiting to find out about them. In the meantime I'll try with one folder at a time. Thanks again.

Hello,
bad news about my try using one folder at a time. The car system give me the same message. For the moment I haven't any idea to do other things. Morehover I've filed to resetting the system using the Mode button and the On/Off togheter. It seems that only the Mode button work alone and the other one too.
Someone have anything to try?
Let me know, thanks.
