14 M5 comp or 18 M550i?
both alpine white with similar milage. I need help with the decision because I really am torn. The M5 is tuned with downpipes, intake and exhaust so it's perfect as is but it's a 16 hour drive away. Personally, between those two, I would go for the M550i. Updated design, updated engine, and 4 years of less wear & tear. The M550i is also a different beast from our F10 550i. BMW actually made it sporty and handle better, not to mention comes with a killer stock exhaust setup, vs our Hyundai-like sounding stock mufflers.
M5 will always buy you exclusivity into the M club and bragging rights. Having said that, I still wouldn't choose it over a 2018 M550i for the reasons mentioned above. All of the things you had to fix on your 14 550i are probably waiting for you on that M5 (high-pressure fuel pump, upper oil pan leak, leaking turbo lines, etc.). All big ticket items.

[The BMWCCA allows everyone in as long as you pay the dues..] I can remember the days when I was excited to just own a BMW..and now having owned many ///M's...it doesn't make me better than anyone else...at least in my book.
