Wheel advice

What's good everyone, I need a bit of help on some wheel sizing. I'm looking to get I believe the 343m wheels with the following size: 20x9 et34 front 265/35R20. 20x10 et 34 rear 295/30R20

I wanted to know if anyone would be able to impart some advice on whether these would rub or not. They seem a bit large for the front but I'm not an expert so I've come to y'all. Would spacers help? Any help is appreciated thanks!

I run 255/35/20 295/30/20 on my 343's with the same offsets. xDrive, so I downsized the fronts a tad. From my experience, 285's fit better on the rears, because 295's poke a tad due to the non-m5 fenders being not as wide. As for rub, you should be fine with what you posted.

Thanks for the insight bro! After doing some research it does seem like folks with x-drive had trouble with rubbing with a 265 front. I have a RWD so I don't think it should be as big as an issue. After the tires get worn out I'll probably be switching the back from 295 to 285. I'm just getting an absolute deal off Craigslist for an oem set of the 343s and I'm gonna go pick them up tomorrow!

I mean, xDrive folks can't even really run 265. A 265/295 combo is greater than the 1% total diameter tolerance.

For sure. I ended up getting them yesterday and haven't had any issues with rubbing although I am planning on downsizing the wheels just a bit. Seems like 245/275 or 255/285 are the agreed upon options. Trying to decide between the two now

I have a 530d (rear wheel drive) and put on some 343M wheels a few years back. The M5 and the M6 both have this wheel, but the M6 has a different offset and it doesn't fit on the F10 very well. The wheel specs you listed initially are correct for M5 wheels that fit on an F10.

I run 255s in the front and 285s in the rear and have had zero rubbing issues. I'm on my second set of Pilot Sport 4S's, so I've certainly put some miles on this set up. When I did all my initial research, some people had rubbing problems with 265s in the front and 295s in the rear, so I decided on the slightly narrower width.

I've added some pictures that show the width of the setup in relation to the fender (I have not used spacers- just bolted these straight on), as well as some general pics.

Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing! I've only rubbed with a heavy loaf in the back on bumps with the 295 set up but I think 285 is a great choice, I will probably be getting those tires soon. I know Pilot Sport 3 a/s are older than the PS4S but I've heard good things about it's tread life in comparison to the 4s so I think that might be something I'd do. Also it looks like you have a big brake kit installed? Looks great

I'm also experiencing some rubbing on heavy bumps with 295's. I'm planning to switch over to 285's next time🤪 which it should be still good with 255's upfront

Won't work. 285/30/20 with 255/35/20 results in a 1.1% difference in diameter, great than the 1% tolerance allowed. 245's on the same profile would be 0.4%
