M-sport suspension clarification

Just want to be sure I have this right:

The ONLY legit sport suspension (I mean springs and dampers) comes in the RWD platform ONLY.

The Xi cars have the base suspension.

I'm not interested in having the complex and pricey and rare adaptive stuff, as nice as it may be.

Yes, no m sport suspension (704) for f10s with xDrive.

Does the option sheet say "S704A", or is it just that "M Sport" is all over the marketing material?

My understanding of what Spitfire is seeking is the "option 704" suspension - the true, passive, always on, beefier springs/shocks/sway bars, lower ride height, no electronics option. S704A is the only way to definitively identify it.

Now, on the F10, 704 is still not all that fantastic compared to other platforms, but it's the closest to a purist "sport suspension".

Yea i looked decoded the VIN and it shows
P337A which is just the m sport package... nothing about the suspension. No warries I am going to install kw v3 coilovers.

And you will be very pleased when you do. I am about 90% done adjusting mine and the ride and cornering are very impressive. No 'float' whatsoever.

Good luck.

Best to go with a 100%, fully-assembled kit that includes new strut mounts, spring pads, spring perches, bumpstops, bearings, mounts, etc.

Not too harsh either? The e90 sport package car rides like a wooden plank. Very good for handling but terribly unrefined

It's really like a pogo stick?? How does BMW get away with this? Why are they still class leading then? Does everyone else just suck?

Is there any make that provides a solid sporty yet comfy suspension without costing $100k ?

I don't get it...

My base 2012 535i handles and rides just fine. This was my first BMW so have nothing other than comparable cars to compare. I came from a 2006 Lincoln LS and the base suspension is just as good as the Lincoln's sport suspension.
