Adaptive LED coding

I have been reading a lot through this forum about Carly and Veepeak. Great tools but unable to find something that can unleash the full features of the Adaptive Headlights. I have the headlight package and love the auto dimming option, but came across recently that some features were removed from US models.

Thoughts?

Car is still a cpo so don't want to ruin the warranty if it's a complicated process.

I have my M5 LED lights fully enabled, recoding adaptive lighting distribution. Its amazing at night particularly on a completely non-lit back road.

It won't void any sort of warranty. I can code it and any other features you like.

I'm in the same boat actually. I just got the Veepeak and Bimmercode app... but I haven't yet started tinkering yet. My VIN search says that I have the adaptive lights, and i see the LED's on the sides of my headlamps... but I'm not yet sure what all is possible.

Stuck- any coding walk thru you could send for me to input?

LED headlamps are a LCI only option. You 2011 would not have LED headlamps. Halogen, or adaptive Xenon.

Proper FDL coding is done with ESYS on a laptop with a ENET cable or ICOM.

Carly/Bimmercode are toys.

Ok, thanks for the info. I guess I was confused about what these things are then... see circled in the pic.

I'm sure they're toys, but I'm only toying with some initial coding so it'll do fine by me for now.

Are you trying to get that side marker light that you circle to turn on ?

Ooooo k. I figured out my issue. I didn’t realize those led looking dots were the blinkers.

Still new to the f10 platform.

Can you recommend a guide for this - just bought a 2015 550i xdrive with the adaptive LED package....and the decoding!

I'd love to undo this!

I've been researching this on various forums but there is conflicting info. Are there vetted guides for this?
