At any rate, OFHG jobs without priming seem to be a major contributing factor. I've seen some hints that external air/oil cooler engines are more vulnerable (which makes sense) but there isn't enough hard data on that. A lot of online accounts have a lot of "I don't know what I have" and not reporting back.
What's the priming procedure for the F10? I couldn't find any info on which fuses to pull when I did the job yesterday

Pull all six injector connectors and crank the car for 10 seconds with a 20 or 30 second break for three times.

Could you possibly point out where they are? I took a look but wasn't sure.

You can just pull the fuel pump fuse I think.

Is this the official procedure by BMW?

Which fuse is that? In the pamphlet that you get for the fuse box, it had 135, 139 (or 138, I forget), and 184 as the fuses for the fuel icon. I'm not 100% sure if this was the fuel pump, or refueling, so I pulled all 3 and the car still started up so I'm a bit lost as to which fuse it is.

I just followed the diagram too. 135,139 and 184 seems correct. I pulled them and my car didn't start after my OFHG job.

After I drove for a day. The starter was fried. The 3 long cranks must have did it in.

I think your starter was on its way out already then. I might just have fuel in the lines still, I'll try again later today.

Edit: Pulled 135, 139, and 184. Car still starts and runs just fine. Evidently my LPFP runs on magic.

Disconnecting the injectors would assure that even with fuel in the lines, it won’t start That’s what I’ll be doing when I do mine this weekend.

The main problem is, I'm not sure where the connectors for the injectors are lol. Are they by the coils?

Yes sir, coil side. You will have to pop the coils out to remove the connectors, use a pocket screw driver to release the clips.

Don't worry about 2 and 3 in the second pic, thats the ground.
