Help identifying part in engine compartment
So this just broke on the car. It's a sensor and the flange broke from the tube.
It's on the driver side next to the air filter housing. Can you help me identify it so I can buy a new one? |

Nope..not unless we have forum members that are clairvoyant. You only have "f10" listed as you're car info...no model & no model year or engine info. The f10 has multiple engines, and you've not identified which one you have. Help us help you better...remember to give enough info/details to be able to attempt a response.
And a pic would be helpful...but it looks like you did attempt to upload a pic...but it didn't work. Until an image an be uploaded and/or more info...have you tried finding it using one of the online part database site like realoem.com or bmwfan.info? What area of the car is is associated with? Is it a vacuum hose, cooling system, etc? Give us something to work with...where is it running from or to that might reveal what the sensor controls or regulates?
