I recently had an aftermarket sound system installed in my 2012 BMW 550i and even when I've tried locking the car while in it with the key fob, the door continually opens from the bass.

Does anyone have any solution for such a problem, or am I just SOL?

You could try adjusting the latch... If the bass is deforming the panel that much you just might have to deal with it.

Thanks. I may just have to keep the bass turned down, which isn't necessarily a problem for me. I was going for a more crisp/loud Mids/Highs sound with additional bass.

I have a friend of mine that worked for BMW checking with another one of his old co-workers for solutions and will post updated solution, if there is one.
